Description
It's only the camera's trick. Excavators are not digging under foundations of Hotel Texas, as photograph seems to indicate. The big pit, from which 30,000,000 pounds of dirt and rock will be removed, is for foundations of new Fort Worth National Bank Skyscraper, across Main St. from hotel. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, evening edition July 4, 1950.
