Image shows a car damaged by bricks from lightning bolt. E. Wayne Deaton, 3304 N. Terry, left, is shown examining the top of his car while his friend Dan Johnston, 2928 Travis, checks inside the car. This coupe was one of five cars to be damage by when a lightning bolt knocked a shower of bricks and mortor from the top of the Criminal Courts Building. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, June 29, 1950.
