Two Fort Worth residents whose combined ages total 219 years, observed their birthdays Saturday. Charlie Earls, who has been a resident of Perciballi Home for Men and Women for the last five years, marked his 112th birthday by helping two great grand children eat a white cake adorned with upright figures "112". Earls was born in McMinnville, Tennessee, on Feb. 28, 1847. He came to Texas in the early 1900s, then later moved to Shawnee, Oklahoma. In the picture, Earls and his great grandson, Tony Dickey, 2.
