Description
Three longtime Fort Worth residents will close their railroad careers this weekend. Retiring from Santa Fe Railway will be Perry Q. Jackson, a messenger and former assistant agent, and John McCarthy, general yardmaster for the railway. W. Carl Payne, traveling freight and passenger agent for the Fort Worth & Denver Railway officially will retire Saturday. In the picture Mr. Jackson.
