    Description

A 21-year-old transient from Savannah, Georgia, was captured Thursday about two blocks from the downtown cafe he shot up in an attempted robbery at 3 p. m. The would-be bandit, Freeman Wallace, admitted that it just wasn't his day. He didn't get any money from the firm. He had a pot of hot coffee thrown in his face by a waitress. Warrant Officer P. I. Hatchett, left, and D. D. Gentry examine the weapon.
