    Description

    This is architect Philip Johnson's elevation of the Amon G. Carter Museum of Western Art which the Carter Foundation will build for the city. The museum will house the famous Carter collection of Russell and Remington paintings. It is expected at this time that the building, costing from $500,000 to $1,000,00 will be completed and opened to the public by summer of 1960.
