Description
Fifteen years ago, Mrs. Beulah Hurst, wife of Mr. W. L. Hurst bought a small "cactus" plant for 75 cents and set it out at her home, 2612 Azle Avenue. The century plant now is 10 feet high, has a four-inch-thick stem, and pleases Mrs. Hurst, who is shown with it above. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, June 29, 1950.
