Description
Jesse Grimes, a signer of the Texas Declaration of Independence and the grandfather of Mrs. W. C. Preston Sr., will be honored Monday during a program at Washington-on-the-Brazos State Park. The day long program, dedicated to the man for whom Grimes County was named, is being sponsored by the Grimes County Chamber of Commerce and the Texas Independence Day Organization.
