Description
Mrs. R. B. Freeman, had open heart surgery, were two pumps and an oxygenating apparatus did the work that her heart and lings normally do. The operation was performed to repair a hole between the patients two upper heart chambers and to a close a tiny vessel between the big artery to the lungs. In the picture, Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Freeman getting ready to leave the hospital for a normal life.
