Description

Airline trunk carriers in the U.S. are going to have to make longer and longer hauls and let local service airlines handle a correspondingly larger share of short and medium length travel, a Civil Aeronautics Board official medium length travel, a Civil Aeronautics Board official said Tuesday night. Col. John W. Dregge, chief of the routes division of the CAB, left, and M. L. McLaughlin, chairman of the local aviation writers' association.
