    "Americans live in a visual-depriving culture" and for that reason Dr. A. M. Skeffington of St. Louis predicts more acute visual problems in the space age. Dr. Skeffington, known as the father of modern optometry, is one of the principal speakers at the Southwestern Congress of Optometry, in three day convention at Hotel Texas. In the picture, Drs.
