This building for the elementary and junior high school African American students has 13 regular classrooms, a combination auditorium-gymnasium, cafeteria, art rooms, special classrooms (for domestic science, woodwork and music) and an administrative unit. It will be ready by the 1950 to 1951 school term to receive its expected enrollment of 180. Cost of the building is 315, 424. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, June 29, 1950.
