Description
Dr. James L. Jarrett of Chicago a former professor of philosophy at the University of Utah, the University of Michigan and at Columbia, donned a 10 gallon hat Friday night to kick off the Texas Great Books Institute. Jarrett, who head the National Great Books Foundation, said the big hat was fitting, because Texas stand high in the nation in the reading and discussion of the classics.
