Description
The speaker at the morning session of the Texas Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development was Dr. W. R. Goodson, director of accreditation with the Texas Education Agency. Dr. Goodson remarked that a student whose record shows he passed physics may have taken the course in a school which had no laboratory, untrained teachers or shortened class periods. One of the objectives of the curriculum study will be to make recommendations for the general content of each course offered in elementary and secondary schools in the state.
