Description
The TCU Fine Arts Building is almost filled with feathers. Headdress and costume designer got underway for the "Thunderbird," summer operetta to be staged late in July and early in August. Mrs. Rachel Moore, TCU accompanist, and David Preston, ballet instructor, directors of the show, use Dick Embelton, fine arts junior, as a model for an elaborate Native American headdress. Dick Embelton is sitting down while ballet instructor David Preston places feathers on his head piece. Mrs. Moore stands next to David Preston. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, June 29, 1950.
