Description

Overcrowded conditions at City-County Hospital caused by the great number of polio cases require that beds be put in every available space. Shown is the bathroom in the hospital's isolation ward, with a bed occupied by a sick child squeezed in between the tub and the wall. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, June 27, 1950. A bathtub and a crib in a room in this photo.
