    The Gene Hall Orchestra from North Texas State College at Denton was named the "Best New Band of 1959" of the Fort Worth area in competition Sunday with three other 15-piece groups. Left to right is, Gene Hall, Doug Hazlewood, Frank Kasko, and Danny Burke. Hall, Kasko, and Burke are holding saxophones. Hazlewood is holding a trumbone.
