Description
When Brenda Robertson was 9 years old her ambition was to play the trumpet. But after taking a few lessons with the instrument her band instructor in a small Oklahoma town advised her to give it up thinking it was too difficult for her to manipulate the valves on the horn. Brenda relectantly stopped her trumpet playing realizing she had a disability. Since birth her fingers had not been growing properly and were shortened. After she terminated her trumpet lessons, she took up the slide trombone, and became and expert with the trombone.
