Conference at supply symposium, General Bennett, left, and R. B. Gregg. The first unit to receive Convair B-58s and put them into service as a regular part of the Strategic Air Command's bomber force will be the 305th Bomb Wing of McDill Air Force Base, Tampa, Florida, it was disclosed Monday.
