Description
Don Matheson blasts from trap on ninth hole of semi-finals match with Richard Patton in River Crest Invitation tournament. Ball stopped foot from pin, Don won hole with birdie four. He later won match, 3-2, to enter finals. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, June 25, 1950.
