A certificate of merit for outstanding performance was presented Friday to the cartographic unit of the Soil Conservation Service, which serves a dive state area from its Fort Worth headquarters. Dr. H. L. Dean, left, head of the local unit, accepted the award from F. M. Orsini, chief of the cartographic division in Washington.
