Description

Workmen began Saturday with the huge task of pumping 50,000,000 gallons of water out of Katy Lake, a Fort Worth landmark of half a century. Two 4000 gallons per minute pumps strained at the job Saturday afternoon and, in two hours, had lowered the lake level about three inches.
