The opening-day action in a two-day parachute meet sponsored by the Fort Worth Skydivers Club. About 19 jumpers from Texas, Wyoming and New Mexico took to the air, attempting to land as near as possible to an "X" marked on Luck Field, 10 miles south of the city.
