Description
500 12-And-Under Members Attend Boys Club Party About 500 boys were given Fort Worth Boys Club buttons, food and candy and sang Christmas carols Monday afternoon at a party in their honor at the organization's club hourse, 2000 Ellis Avenue. Attorney J. A. (Tiny) Gooch impersonated Santa Claus for the 12 years and younger age group. Cited for best attendance during the past year was Joe Davenport, 9, son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Davenport of 1950 Columbus. He will hold the honor of being the first boy to enroll for 1959. Joe's father was one of the first boys to join the club in 1935. A party for members of high school age will be at 10 A. M. Tuesday in the club gymnasium.
