Worthian Members Toast Good Health Twenty-two members of the Worthian Club participated Saturday in their annual reunion and loving cup ritual, a champagne toast to good health. The Worthians, sometimes called the "last man's club" because the cup goes to the last survivor, met on a gay note inasmuch as none had died during the last 12 months. The club, which started its once-a-year gatherings in the early twenties with 33 members, still has 26, and all but seven still reside in Fort Worth. George B. Eagle, who had custody of the loving cup during 1958, brought it to the Worth Hotel for the luncheon meeting and later, together with Drexel G. Foreman, who will get the cup for 1960, delivered it to Pierce Flack of 3800 Arundel, who was unable to attend the reunion because of illness. The meeting was not adjourned, but recessed until Foreman and Eagle placed the cup in Flack's custody. Others in attendance were Dr. Giles W. Day, Arch E. Parnum, John C. (Jack) Davies, Hugh B. Smith, Roy A. Westbrook, S. Scott Teel, Dr. R. G. Baker, Robert T. Welborn, J. F. Lively, Nolty Cox, Dr. A. W. Hiller, Bryan Gregory, Harold Hough and M. E. Ousley, all of Fort Worth. Five from out of town who attended are J. B. Jordan of Abilene, Tom A. Coughlin of Dallas, Joe A. Wilson of Longview, Fred Hyer of Big Spring and Harry A. Taylor of Houston. Absent were Dr. F. L. Snyder and Sam Billingsley, both of Fort Worth; C. K. Fletcher of McAllen and James D'Arcy of Harrison, Michigan.
