Description
J. E. McDonald's re-entry into the commissioner of agriculture race under ruling by the Supreme Court of Texas was welcomed by one of his opponents, John C. White, here on a campaign tour. White labeled McDonald as "not only a poor Democrat but a poor agriculture commissioner", and added, "I welcome the opportunity to meet McDonald at the polls". Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition June 22, 1950.
