Description
Soroptimists Hear Talk On Patients After a business meeting of the Soroptimist Club at 8 P. M. Monday at the YWCA, member heard Mrs. Charles G. Pratt, 5116 Crown Road. Mrs. Pratt is a member of the Mental Health Association speaker's bureau. Her topic was the problems of persons discharged from the state hospital at Wichita Falls. At the hospital, she reported, are 200 from this county alone, "forgotten people" who do not hear from their families from one year to another. It is those people to whom Christmas gifts will be sent by the Mental Health Association. Mrs. Pratt served on the staff of the U. S. Public Health Service Hospital two years and was the first paid director of the Information Center of the Tarrant County Mental Health Association, the first of its kind in the state.
