Practicing lighting the candles for Chanukah [Hanukkah], the eight-day Jewish holiday which commemorates history's first struggle for religious liberty and starts Saturday at sundown, are left to right, Richard Salam, Lorna Grenadier, Rosalyn Katz and Harris White. The boys wear their yarmulkes (skull caps) and blue and white tallit scarves.
