The Hurst volunteer fire department was honored Tuesday night as the county's top department of 1958 at a meeting of the Tarrant County Volunteer Fire Fighters Association. Hurst Fire Chief Ed Duffel accepted a trophy from Tarrant County's Fire Marshal Mason Lankford. In the picture left to right, Lankford and Duffel.
