Dan H. Daggett, electrical engineering student at Rice Institution and midshipman second class in the USNR, has been awarded the Jesse H. Jones Scholarship honoring Fleet Administrator William F. Halsey Jr., USN (retired), for the academic year 1950-51. Daggett, son of Mrs. Mary H. Daggett, 1111 Lipscomb, is a 1948 high honor graduate of Paschal High School. He is a contract student in the NRTOC at Rice. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition June 20, 1950.
