    Artist Dwight Holmes calls this painting "Red Oak" because of the flamboyant tree which is in the foreground. It was painted near Mason and is one of 25 oils included in Holmes's how at Lon Hellums Gallery, 304 Main. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition June 25, 1950.
