Description
Excavation of the new University Drive underpass south of the East-West Expressway under the Texas and Pacific tracks in uncovering a temporary trestle constructed at a cost of $30,000, which sent the total city expense on the structure to $210,000. Pilings were driven by the railroad, but the city pays the cost. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition June 16, 1950.
