Description
Fire Station number 12's new Dalmatian mascot doesn't appear too excited as driver Eddie Burns gives the dog a driving lesson. The Dalmation, traditional mascot for firemen, will get his official name from a long pedigree that includes 38 major show winners. But Burns said the station fireman at 2410 Prospect are hoping the public will give suggestions for an "everyday" name. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, June 16, 1950.
