It's a mighty far piece from Weslaco in the south tip of Texas to Pampa in the Panhandle, but Mary Margaret Low, left, Weslaco freshman, and Wanda Murray, Pampa junior, find a meeting place at the Will Rogers statue on the Texas Tech campus. The bronze likeness of the cowboy philosopher on his horse, "Soapsuds" was presented the college by Amon Carter Senior
