Image shows three members of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Mrs. J. S. Bardin, left, treasurer of Fort Worth Chapter, receives $100 check from chapter regent, Mrs. Leslie C. John, 2525 Edgewood Terrace, as past regent, Mrs. Payton Maddox, center, looks on. The chapter won the money as first prize in a world wide contest selling greeting cards. Proceeds will go towards York, Pennsylvania bell tower. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, June 15, 1950.
