Image shows Major General Roger Ramey, left, is giving his farewell speech to several thousand men of the 7th and 8th Bombardment Wing at Carswell Air Base. He is leaving to become director of operations in Air Force headquarters in Washington. On his right is Brigadier General C. S. Irvine, 7th Wing Commander. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, June 14, 1950.
