Race Fans Depart - Seven Southwestern Bell Telephone operators are among the 150 Fort Worth residents who left Friday afternoon by special Fort Worth and Denver train for the centennial horse races in Denver. The train will return here at 3:30 P. M. Sunday. The women are, front row, left to right, Miss Faye Simmons, Miss Nina Goodgame and Miss Clara Bess Boone; middle row, Mrs. Jimmie Ledbetter and Miss Virginia Macklin, and back row, Miss Murrel Samuel and Mrs. Agnes K. Condit.
