Description
Keg-chested Tenor Jim Hawthorne's feet will get plenty of attention during next week's showing of "The Merry Widow" at Casa Manana. He will play the dancing gallant Prince Danilo in the old but always-popular operetta of mustachioed princes and naughty can-can girls. Hawthorne flew into Fort Worth Tuesday for rehearsals. It was also a reunion with his wife and child. Joan Mann, who has gathered many laurels this season as both Casa Manana's choreographer and as a comedy dancer, is Mrs. Hawthorne off the boards.
