Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Moore of Mansfield will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary August 13 with an open house from 3 to 6 P. M. at their home August 17. The couple were married in Handley August 13, 1908, and have been residents of the Arlington-Handley-Mansfield area all their lives. They moved to Mansfield in 1955. Mr. and Mrs. Moore have four daughters, Mrs. E. L. Lusk of Irving, Mrs. Orley Marshall of Dallas and Mrs. W. L. Gunnell of Dallas. The celebrating couple have eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He is the son of the late W. H. L. Moore and Hattie Hiett Moore of Arlington. Mrs. Moore is the daughter of the late Hanna G. Hutcheson, whose husband, the late W. A. Hutcheson, died when Mrs. Moore was a child. Friends of the Moores will call during the afternoon, but a Moore family reunion will take place all day. About 200 members of the two families are expected for the reunion.
