Description
Sycamore Recreation Center's candidate for queen of the Country Fair Jamboree is Jeannie Singleton, 16, chosen in a contest at the center Friday night. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andy Singleton of 5104 Nolan. Other candidates chosen earlier by centers over the city are Beverly Bland, Forest Park Recreation Area; Nancy Casbeer, R. D. Evans Recreation Center; Kaye Sheppard, North Side Recreation Center, and Janie Echols, Riverside Recreation Center. The city recreation department will hold the jamboree Thursday night in Sylvania Park.
