Image of a painting of the Crucifixion, lent by Rev. Walter Hussey, hangs on the wall of a transept of St. Matthew's Church in Northampton, England. Graham Sutherland was commissioned to do the painting, which is oil on composition. It is one of the outstanding works in the Modern Church Art Show from the Museum of Modern Art, now hanging in the Fort Worth Art Association gallery at the Public Library. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition June 18, 1950.
