The pretty peach picker on the cover is LaDonna Johnson, 15-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. K. Johnson Jr. of Weatherford. Miss Johnson is a sophomore in Weatherford High School. The Johnsons are harvesting 65 acres of peaches like these - Early Red Free variety - on their farm two miles west of Weatherford on U. S. Highway 180.
