16-year-old Entrant Wins Riverside Beauty Contest-Sixteen-year-old Janie Echols won a beauty contest Thursday night at Riverside Recreation Center, the first of a series of contests to select a queen of the Country Fair Jamboree, sponsed by the Fort Worth recreation department. Miss Echols, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Echols of 2513 Carnation, won over Miss Barbara Woodall, who was second, and Miss UnaFay Hammond, third.
