Murder Inquiry Moves Into City-Brazoria County officers, shifting their investigation of the James W. Simpson slaying to Fort Worth, questioned his mother Thursday for "background"in the baffling case. Investigators Bob Elder and Frank Clark of Angleton spent several hours with Mrs. Lillie Simpson at the Lake Worth police headquarters. Simpson, 29-year-old Convair electrical technician, was shot to death July 2 at a fishing spot on the San Bernard River near Freeport.
