Description
Gunman Robs Supermarket-A stocky middle-aged bandit walked into the A. L. Davis Supermarket at 3628 McCart about 6:25 a. m. Thursday and used a short barreled revolver to take an undertermined amount of cash from the company safe. C. R. Moore, 24-year-old assistant manager of the store said he was busy opening up the market, and had just started to lock the door behind the bread deliveryman when the man walked up. Moore said the gunman seemed to know what he was doing. All the man said was "I want your money," Moore related.
