Description
Tarrant County's conservative Democrats are gointo try to retain their local party control by "out-organizing" their liberal opposition. Caucusing more than 100 strong in Hotel Texas, they pledged their dedication to that strategy Thursday. Ralleying them to fight was a warning from their leaders that outcome of the crucial precinct conventions here July 26 is going to be "very close." They drew comfort, though, from assurances of State Democratic Chairman Jim Lindsey of Texarkana that they are not alone in a "fight that's going on all over Texas."
