Eight of the wives of the nine Texas district governors were in Chicago for the Lions meeting. They are left to right, front - Mrs. Cecil Bray of Pasadena, Mrs. Marvin B. Simpson Junior of Fort Worth, Mrs. Johnnie McLeod of Jasper, Mrs. J. W. Hagler of Longview; back - Mrs. Bill Hunter of Amarillo, Mrs. Leonard Johnson of Alamo, Mrs. Duke Jimerson of Midland and Mrs. Thomas I. Poe of Luling. Missing was Mrs. Marvin Adkins of El Paso. The statue of "The Bowman" is seen behind the group.
