Description
Mrs. R. M. Bowen, Cadmean Club member, attended a meeting of the General Federation of Women's Clubs in Boston, was named by the Texas delegation to extend an invitation to the federation to meet in 1951 at Houston. She had a wonderful time sightseeing and reveling in New England tradition and history. Francis Coffey has been delighting friends and entertaining people this season with flowers from her "garden". She had three tiny bushes of pixie and Tom Thumb roses which she arranged in miniature bouquets in thimbles. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition June 11, 1950.
