Description
Heavy rains fell on Fort Worth from pitch black skies at mid afternoon Saturday, causing some flooding from runoff water and stalling traffic temporarily in several sections of the city. Gusty winds were responsible for one injury. The downpour which amounted to 2.90 inches in downtown Fort Worth at 5:00 p. m. caved in the roofs of three businesses. Damage was heaviest on Fort Worth's North Side.
