Image shows Linda Pennington, 3, holding her puppy, Tippy. Linda Pennington risked her life to save her dog, Tippy from being struck by a car at her home, 2121 Ellis. The car missed Tippy but hit Linda. The driver took Linda and her mother to the hospital. Her wounds included a cut by the eye, a skinned face and knees. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, June 7, 1950.
